About Gaslamp Popcorn

The principals of our company LOVE fresh popped popcorn, but it was so hard to find! When you did find it, it was on a fresh basis. The popped popcorn available to the consumer was simply not good. For this reason and because they could not get great popcorn on a consistent basis, our principals studied varieties of unpopped popcorn and methods of popping.

After about a year and investment of extensive capital, our popped popcorn lovers knew everything there was to know about fresh popped popcorn. The results of our product and processing controls unlocked secrets on which Gaslamp Popcorn Co. later designed its products and various processes.

In early 1999 Gaslamp took its products to the consumer with an experimental popcorn store and several moveable popcorn kiosks. Over 150,000 individual samples were handed out to consumers to verify what Gaslamp management already suspected - Gaslamp Popcorn was able to produce the best tasting popped popcorn products and to keep these products fresh, without preservatives!

Armed with this knowledge, We at Gaslamp Popcorn opened are factory and started selling its product nationally with the aim of making these fabulous products available to other popcorn lovers.
